Yoga Holidays

If want to visit India for a yoga holiday, you’ve found the perfect location. Take your time. Ease your mind. Nurture your soul. Reconnect with your strength and inner wisdom. Yoga classes are held in a magical forest setting. This spot was especially chosen for its replenishing energy. Whether you’re experienced or new to yoga, you’ll find practising ‘outside’ on our spectular Pyramid Shala a highly rewarding experience – both physically and spiritually.

A Yoga Holiday is the perfect option if you want to stay as flexible as possible because it allows you to take classes spontaneously as you feel on the day. This means you can join in as few or many yoga classes as you like – all included in the price. We have at least two classes daily, seven days a week.

We have two yoga shalas:

Our Hidden Forest Shala located in a small shady valley provides deep silence and tranquility. The trees and a little creek cool down the entire place and enable pleasant practice all day long.

The Pyramid Shala is built according to the rules of sacred geometry. It has the perfect location in a tranquil forest garden. This means there is always a refreshing breeze so the tropical temperatures never become unbearable for yoga practice.

The schedule changes regularly in order for guests to experience different styles of yoga with our different resident teachers. Our teachers will adapt the class to the personal needs of each pupil so beginners, intermediate and advanced students are welcome. Classes are held exclusively for guests staying at the Yoga Farm in order to keep numbers low and class quality high.

Styles of yoga taught include Ashtanga, Hatha, Dynamic, Vinyasa, Flow, Sivananda, Kundalini and Iyengar. Each class includes yoga asana, meditation and pranayama.

 Our Yoga Shala

The aim of yoga is to bring mind, body and spirit into balance and ultimately reach a higher state of consciousness. Believed to have originated in India some 10,000 years ago, yoga was originally taught through sacred texts and secret teachings with many variations of the practice being developed over the centuries.
